Elite Hanoverian Stallion "For Play" Liver Chestnut 4 white socks and a blaze born 4/25/2000 Imported 12/26/07 Owned by: Debbie L. Sibilio & Dacia Peters DBA Top Line Farms LLC. Trained & Shown by: Dacia Peters
Pedigree Summary: For Play is a son of For Pleasure, a national show jumping champion of Germany and a member of the gold medal German Teams at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. He also carries the blood of G-line greats Grannus, Grande, and Gotthard as well as that of the great Anglo-Norman stallion Furioso II
For Play's Dam is equally impressive with strengths of the Holsteiner lines starting with Acord II, Ahorn Z and Reaching back to Cor de la Bryere and the Hanoverian G-line Gothard
Performance Summary: For Play was imported at the end of 2007 and we expect him to join the regional and national Grand Prix level in 2008 as well as competing with his peers as an 8y/o YJC . We also plan to enter the USDF and work toward upper level dressage. Prior to being imported For Play was selected and won his 30 day stallion test in Germany. He won by such a margin that he was exempted from the conclusion of the 70 day test so he could stand at the Celle State stud and participate in the jumper breeding program.
For Play as a 5 y/o As a young horse in Germany he earned the privilege of qualifying for the Bundeschampionat. He was awarded a 10 in his ability in his young horse jumping competitions. For Play had many wins as a young horse with the most recent at 1.40 meters timed as a 6 year old. 2007 was spent breeding back at his home farm outside of Hanover before we were given the opportunity to bring him to the US.
Progeny Summary: For Play has produced several outstanding foals in Germany. Out of his first foal crop he produced a licensed German Hanoverian stallion that stands and remains in Germany. He gives his foals his very typey head, jumping ability and scope as well as his lofty, suspended powerful dressage type gate. He has produced all colors including black out of a bay mare (2 y/o seen in photo). I have seen a variety of his foals that move and jump like top hunters, jumpers and dressage horses. His temperament is a very important characteristic that will create top level amateur horses as well as very easy to ride professional winning mounts.
For Play's 2 year old daughters who will hopefully be joining us in the US soon For Play will be breeding US mares in 2008. His stud fee is $1500.00 with a $250 booking fee for fresh semen. For Play is nominated to the International Jumper Futurity, selected for the AHS Jumper breeding program (JBP), and is a participant in the 2008 AHS Stallion Service Auction. We do offer multiple mare discounts, elite mare discounts and other incentive programs. For Play is approved AHS & VhW. He is eligible to breed Oldenburg mares and will be presented a full lifetime license in 2008. please contact Dacia for additional registries we may be involved in. equifit2007@aol.com cell (951) 226 - 4986
